Workshop: First Aid for Allied Health Professionals Sunday 24th September Byron Bay

  • First Aid Workshop
    September 24, 2017
    10:00 - 16:00

Are you prepared for an emergency situation in your workplace?

Whilst still addressing the content mandated by the Senior first aid Certificate requirements for AHPRA registration this workshop has been tailor made for allied health practitioners with more emphasis placed on emergency situations your are more likely to see in your role as Allied Health Professionals such as epileptic fits, diabetic shock and cardiac arrest etc.

Please note there is some online material that must be completed before the event. You must complete this before you attend on the day or you will not be issued a certificate.

The workshop is designed to meet the requirements of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulator Agency (AHPRA) that most allied health practitioners hold a current senior first aid certificate as part of their registration requirements.

Why do your First Aid through the AMSN ?

The AMSN’s first aid course is tailor made for allied health professions working in the field of musculoskeletal conditions. The requirements of the senior first aid course dictate that topics like snake bite must still be covered but Malcolm will spend a lot more time looking at topics that your most likely to see in your clinic.

* You can rest assured that your really doing one of the best and most in-depth courses on the Australian market. Doing a dodgy course through another operator just to get your AHPRA registration requirements may seem like a good idea until your faced with a real life emergency. This is skill that could just save a life not to mention your professional reputation.

* It’s a lot more fun to do first aid with your colleagues

* It’s great networking for allied health professionals.

* It’s in Byron Bay !
