Dr Daniel Lewis MB.BS (Hons), FRACP is a musculoskeletal, arthritis and pain management specialist with more than 25 years experience in patient care and research.

Daniel continues to be involved in academic research and his practice provides up- to- date, evidence- based treatment approaches.

In 1995 his interest in a whole person approach to medicine led to him being appointed as the inaugural Director of Complementary Therapies at a Melbourne private hospital. He has also served as President of the Arthritis Victoria for 3 years.

His current professional appointments include:

  • Senior honorary specialist at the Monash Medical Centre, Melbourne,
  • Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Medicine at Monash University
  • Member of the Medical Panels of the Victorian WorkCover Authority.
  • An Independent Medical examiner for WorkSafe Victoria

In 2003 he founded the Lewis Institute for Health and Wellbeing. This is an education, training and research organisation which provides evidence- based information about ways to create health.

The Workshop

Inflammatory Arthritis is a Musculo-Skeletal Emergency.

The workshop will provide you with the latest evidence and practice in the assessment (including radiological investigations), diagnosis and treatment (including pharmacotherapy)  of Inflammatory Arthritis.

The workshop will highlight the need and teach you the skills for early detection and management by musculo-skeletal practitioners in order to prevent long term morbidity in this patient group.

The Event

The workshop will be held at The Lord Byron Resort.

 This workshop has been awarded 4 formal CPD hours  from COCA  For other professions please consult your relevant AHPRA board.
